Instagram intellectual property violation disabled means the login itself is blocked after copyright or trademark claims, not only one post. The appeal is the button on the disable notice. The earlier takedown emails are the backstory.
Collect both notices
Screenshot the disable screen: headline, any policy line, any countdown, and the button. Then find the emails about the posts that were removed. Save the claimant name and the date. If you still have the original files, note where they came from in one line. You do not need to attach a whole archive to the first appeal.
Request the review from the disable screen. In the text box, write:
- The username and the date you saw the disable.
- That the notice names an intellectual property violation.
- Whether you made the work, licensed it, or the claim names the wrong upload.
- That you want this decision reviewed.
One pass. Then watch the email on the account.
Do not mix this up with a single strike
If you can still log in and only a reel was removed, you are on Instagram copyright strike, not this page. If the notice says community guidelines, use Instagram community guidelines violation appeal. If it says terms of use, use Instagram terms violation appeal.
A shop account should say it is the business profile. The broader business disable page is Instagram business account disabled. The general steps are Instagram account disabled: how to get it back.
We file the appeal through Meta’s own official channels. We open support chats, send follow-up emails, and push the case hard until it gets looked at. It takes a few days. Start a case on the contact page. How it works is the three steps. We never ask for your password.
